One of the requests from this mom was that she liked the mountains to be a part of the story in the family photograph. So we selected this Utah County spot with gorgeous views! It happened to be windy there so I had to do a little hair editing after the fact. We started with the Missionary pictures while we waited for everyone to arrive. Once we got the much needed flag and scripture photos we moved on to the family session. It was easy to keep things fun and light hearted because the dad of this fam kept everyone laughing. He was ready with an eyebrow-raise or smolder anytime to make everyone laugh. I’m always so grateful when family members are willing to just have fun together during their session, it makes for great smiles and connection in their images.

Mom also did a great job on the outfits, everyone looked great. Her black dress was from Anthropologie and photographed so well, the embroidery added a lot of texture and was interesting without being distracting, check it out.
