Want a winter family photo shoot? This family photography session shows it doesn’t have to be all about the pine trees. I love me a good snow covered pine, but I also love snow with pretty backlight shining through the golden reeds/weeds. Park City has this awesome white barn (which is frequented by photographers) with a river, paths, groves of trees and more. This family got together for Thanksgiving and decided to have their family pictures done because they were all together. I’m pretty much always working on Thanksgiving weekend for that reason. It’s hard to get families with adult children to all be available at the same time, so using a holiday weekend is a smart idea when you are working with busy schedules. I love this session in BW almost as much as I do in color. I included more BW than usual, because I loved them so much.
