I loved meeting this family that just moved here from California. They hiked up a steep hill with a stroller and baby for these views, and it was worth it! It was pretty cold up there, but surprisingly we weren’t knee deep in snow like I frequently am that time of year. The mom is in the process of starting up her fitness business here, which sounds pretty awesome.
Their daughter’s coats and baby’s dress were from Janie and Jack and were so cute. Also I loved the texture in Dad’s suit, and also how nobody was wearing the same dominant color (which helps me so much when placing people). The color of the mom’s top is one of my favorites lately, and I’m not quite sure what to even call it to do it justice. It was fun to photograph a dressy portrait, especially around the holidays. I loved how these turned out!
