Why did I become a photographer? There’s a few reasons.
- I love taking pictures, and started because I wanted to be able to take pictures of my kids like this (see below)
- Because kids are expensive. I’ve got four kids, two boys and two girls, and the extra income is nice to be able to help pay for a vacation, or all the activities – tennis, lacrosse, tumbling, art, piano, and all the things! Most recently my oldest got his drivers license and my 14 year old finally is almost finished healing from a stress fracture in his back. He’s still weaning off his back brace he’s had since Oct 1.
- Now that my kids are in school full-time there’s plenty of things a could do for work now, but I really love giving families, especially Moms, pictures that bring back all the good memories. It can brighten my day looking at all my kids laughing and having fun together in a family photo. Being able to give that to someone else is awesome. Documenting important milestones, like graduating from high school is pretty awesome too. What a reward for Mom (and the senior) after years of hard work helping their kids in school, providing ways for them to develop talents and just trying to teach them become a good people.
