How about them mountains? Scroll down for some epic views. This spot is one of my farther south locations and is a great option for families wanting to stay in the Provo or Orem area. Also, I loved their neutral color palette, it looked awesome with the surrounding area!

During every full family photo session, I get individuals of all the kids. This location is really exposed to the sun, so I started with all the kids individuals since it’s easier to use the reflector with one person when the sun is high. Then I saved all the family images for the end when the sun was a little lower. That’s backwards from how I usually do it (and probably wouldn’t work with a family that has kids under 3), but it worked awesome with this family. When I started in photography I used to run my sessions the same way pretty much every time, but now I shoot according to light and I love the difference it makes.

This shoot was the last day before one of their kids left an a mission, so we snuck in a few missionary photos as well.
