It’s no secret I looove taking extended family sessions. I’ve photographed extended families from 10-75 (yes, really), and each one is so unique. This family of 16 was fun because, they were small enough that I still had time to take candids and play with the kids in addition to taking all the portraits. The bubbles they happened to bring were SO helpful with the candids, I think I may have to start recommending that all my families under 20 people do the same. I don’t need bubbles with single families because I have so many other games I play with kids. But, with the chaos of multiple families, bubbles were a fast way to get everyones attention with genuine smiles, which was totally a win!
