Tips to Get the Best Senior Photos from a Utah Senior Photographer

This senior sent me some senior photos she liked ahead of time, and I noticed that almost all of them had water incorporated somehow. So I decided to take her to this spot which has a stream that’s easy to wade in. It’s important your senior photographer knows what you like ahead of time so you can get images you know you’ll love. That’s why I always send clients a questionnaire ahead of time to get to know them before their shoot.

I also recommend bringing one causal outfit, and one dressy outfit so you can have two totally different looks. Her dress was from Bohme and photographed so well because of all the texture and lace details. If you play an instrument, bring it along with you, it’s a great addition to your shoot and showcases your hobby. I’ve had clients that have been on student council, so they brought their sweater. I’ve had clients were their prom dresses, and if you like your car, I think it could be really cool to do a garage top shoot with your car. But most important, I want all your images to reflect the person your son or daughter has become and deliver a shoot to shows their personality.
