My photography business grew from a desire to learn how to take professional portraits of my kids, while also capturing the cute and sweet moments of their childhood. Their portraits and candid images are such a treasure to me now which is why my photography style has evolved into what it is today - family portraits with candid moments mixed in to capture personalities and family relationships

In the Spring time, I have a lot of Seniors on my schedule. If you want to shoot in March before the world greens up, my advice is to do an urban shoot, or go for epic mountain views. We did managed to get both urban and nature settings during this shoot which is a tall order (or just not possible sometimes). These spots are only minutes apart. The views are incredible (even before a single plant starts growing) and since it was cloudy we stopped there first. Then we headed to the tunnel for an awesome urban look. Tunnels create the most beautiful lighting and there are so many different ways you can use them. This is definitely one of my new favorite combos, I love the variety you can with those locations.

This Senior brought one dressy outfit and one casual, which is usually what I recommend. We even managed to squeeze in 15 minutes with her harp at the beginning because we live near each other.

If I’m remembering right, we had a little Arianna Grande playing in the background while we had some fun at the tunnel. I should incorporate more music into my shoots, it was fun to have that playing! Do you have any favorite songs? Feel free to have them playing during your shoot.
