My photography business grew from a desire to learn how to take professional portraits of my kids, while also capturing the cute and sweet moments of their childhood. Their portraits and candid images are such a treasure to me now which is why my photography style has evolved into what it is today - family portraits with candid moments mixed in to capture personalities and family relationships

Look at how cool this spot is. People drive by it all the time and don’t realize what a great spot it is for senior pictures in Utah. There’s so much variety: wide open views, dense forest (for Utah at least), a bridge, flowering shrubs, tall trees, fields and lots of gorgeous backlight. I love […]

This is what I do. These casual un-poses are my favorite. After I get a more “placed” look, I tell everyone to squish or cuddle for a waist up shot. This look isn’t for everyone, but if casual with everyone still looking and smiling appeals to you, then we are a GOOD fit. It can […]

I have a confession to make. I love taking extended family photos. Why is this a confession you might be thinking? Being a family photographer in Utah, I’ve done my fair share of extended families. It’s not a popular genre among photographers (cause they are looooots of work and there’s less time for creativity), but because I love the traditional family portrait, I love them! I’ve seen how a family portrait can bring a mom/grandma to […]
